Some Facts About The On-going Nigerian Police Force Recruitment 2016

Hello guys, welcome to my diary. Today, I like to dedicate this page to the on-going Nigerian Police Force recruitment exercise which commenced since the first of April 2016. You will all remember that
the news of this recruitment made the headlines couple of weeks ago; with the president of the Federal republic of Nigeria in person Mohammadu Buhari emphasising that the police force is ready to absorb 10, 000 personnel in this single recruitment exercise.

You see, no matter how insignificant this might be considering the percentage of jobless Nigerians, some ten thousand among them will be securing gainful employment with the federal government. For me, this is somewhat a wake-up-call to my diary visitors who are not sceptical about the free-and–fair campaign of this APC administration.

From my records (if not mistaking) this is the first ever official recruitment of this Buhari administration; and as such, it will be conducted with all sense of sincerity and dignity. Hence, I like you to go through the facts below to see if this exercise is good for you.

Anyone interested in joining the Nigerian Police Force should skim-through the following 6 facts about the on-going recruitment exercise.
1.       Registration for the police recruitment is TOTALLY FREE and form can be filled online.
2.       None of the processes or activities is done offline-everything is initiated and concluded online. So don’t be deceived by fraudsters who may claim to help you influence your being shortlisted for certain amount of naira.
3.       The registration form is exclusive for ages 23-28yrs. Although it is said to be from age 18 and above.
4.       The minimum qualification is school cert. credential; inasmuch as you have your five O’level credits including Mathematics and English in waec, neco, and nabteb in one or two sittings.
5.       You may enter all required information according to how they are spelt-out on your valid and official means of identification. Any of the following from; National ID card, Drivers’’ license, and Voters card will be better.
6.       Only shortlisted candidate will be contacted for the screening/examination phase. Centres will be communicated to successful candidates through national newspapers, NTA, private TV networks and radio stations.

However, due to the fact that recruitment exercises of this calibre often lead to site congestion, you may find it difficult to register during the day. I have even gone extra miles to get the two portals belonging to same body; www.npf.gov.ng or www.psc.gov.ng . Any of these websites could be visited for the purpose of registration. Please feel-free to comment below should you have any question as regard this exercise. I can assure you of replies as best to my ability from available sources.

Let all interested persons give this one a try and see if the story will be different from the Immigration recruitment flaws and many similar ones in time past. Remember, this is a new administration in which a lot of us have designed with dignity and trustworthiness.
Best of luck!
